Alex Bersani, 87, of Delray Beach and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on February 20, 2018.  Alex was a 4 ^th degree member of the Knights of Columbus at Emmanuel Catholic Church. He was a Past Post Commander of the VFW Post 3945 in Morningside, PA. Alex was a security guard for Northridge Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Linda & Byron Labott of Delray Beach, 3 grandchildren Sean Sr, and wife Cathe, Ryan and wife Crystal, Eric and Kellie, 5 great grandchildren Sean, Jr., Ethan, Landon, Tristan and Lizzy.  Alex was predeceased by his wife Anne on September 29, 2005.

Friends may call on Monday, February 26, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6 ^th Avenue, (North Federal Highway) Delray Beach, FL 33483.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 27, 2017 10:30 AM at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 15700 South Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33445.  Interment will follow with military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
