Alexandra Kaye Lautenschlager (Lexi) passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. Alex spent her childhood in Boynton Beach, where she graduated from Park Vista HS in 2011. In July 2015, she graduated from UNF with a Bachelor of Science in Health. She always enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and sang with the voice of angel. Her sense of humor brought joy to those around her. She always put others' needs first and was planning a career in serving her community in the healthcare field. She was employed at Bethesda West Hospital. Lexi is the beloved daughter of Bruce Lautenschlager and Darbe Lautenschlager; devoted sister to Elyse Lautenschlager and Reid Lautenschlager. Also survived by her Step-mother, Taryn Wheat; Grandparents, Alvin and Sandra Lautenschlager and Del and BJ Swilley and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her devotion to her friends and family, Alex also adored all kitties. Our beautiful Alex, inside and out, has forever left an imprint on our hearts.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue, Delray Beach. A funeral will be held at Seacrest Presbyterian Church, 2703 N. Seacrest Blvd., Delray Beach, on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Delray Beach Memorial Gardens Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Compass Community Center or Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in her honor.
