Alyce Fahey Duffy, 75, of Boynton Beach, passed away on July 12, 2012. She was born in Coatesville, PA on October 18, 1936. Mrs. Duffy resided in Downingtown, PA and graduated from Downingtown High School in 1954 and graduated from Westchester State University in 1958. She taught school in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida as a reading specialist. Mrs. Duffy resided in Boynton Beach for the last 10 years. She had a courageous 14 year fight with meningioma. Mrs. Duffy had many friends and was well loved by everybody that knew her. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joe and her daughter, Kathleen Duffy and her husband Richard Todd of Tallahassee, FL. Mrs. Duffy was predeceased by her parents Edward and Winifred Fahey. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 2PM to 4PM at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Ave. (N. Federal Hwy.)Delray Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 11AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach.
