Obituary

Anne (Noone) McDonough, 87, of Delray Beach, passed away on February 13, 2017. She moved to Staten Island in 1958 and worked at Staten Island Academy, retiring in 1987. Anne was a former parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where she was Vice President and Secretary of Our Lady Queen of Peace Mothers Club and also started the One to One reading program. She was a leader in Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. Anne was a member of many organizations, including Rosary Altar Society at both Our Lady Queen of Peace and St. Vincent Ferrer, New Dorp Center AARP, Ancient Order Hibernians Division Two, Women's Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign War-Florida, Columbiettes of St. Vincent Ferrer and a Volunteer Civilian Police Patrol-Florida.

She is survived by her 4 children; son, Brian McDonough of NH, Timothy McDonough of DE, Maura Hotchkiss of IL, Frank McDonough of DE, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mary Murphy of FL, Patricia McCafferty of NY, Nora R. Ryan of TX. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Frank McDonough who was a former NYC Police Lieutenant and passed away in 1986, brother, John Noone, sister, Catherine Magee and daughter, Sheila McDonough. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4PM to 6PM at LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Ave. Delray Beach, FL 33483. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 17, 2017 10:00AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd. Delray Beach.
