Anthony Giardino, 81 of West Palm Beach and formerly of Passaic NJ, after suffering from a heart attack, suddenly left this life to be with God on Sunday, September 30 ^th , 2018 with his family at his bedside.

Anthony was born on June 29, 1937 and raised in the Passaic Clifton area of New Jersey.  He attended Clifton High School and graduated in 1955.  He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and received a Bachelor ' s in History and Pre-Law in 1959.  He served in the Naval Reserves for 4 years and grew to always love sailing and the ocean. He was also part of the Garfield Cadets (Bergen County Cadets) as Color Guard Captain and became the Drum Major for the Cadets.

He moved to Pequannock, NJ and lived and raised his children there until 1993.  In 1995 he moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL which was his lifelong dream.

Anthony loved to play golf, visit historical museums and military academies for the history in them.  He loved boating on the intercoastal. Scuba Div ing and fishing were two of his passions. He was a fun-loving man who loved making people laugh, and car ed for all those around him. He donated his time to the church and all area Catholic schools by running the St. Patrick 's Day Dinner in which hundreds of parishioners would attend for 25 years.  Younger members would learn of his dedication and passion for cooking. But he most loved being with his family.  He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Ray, his children Elena, Joe, Anthony, Jim, and Drew and his grandchildren Jake, Julia, Ava, Sidney and Mara.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6 PM to 8PM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6 ^th Ave. (N Fed Hwy) Delray Beach.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, 2018, 10:00 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, ( NE 4 ^th Ave.) Boynton Beach, FL.
