Arlene Brescia Shattuck, 72 of Boynton Beach and formerly of Pompano Beach passed away on April 13, 2020 of natural causes.  She was born in Paterson, New Jersey to Joseph and Irene "Dolly" Brescia. Her family moved from New Jersey to Florida in the 1950's and she attended St. Vincent's Ferrer Catholic School in Delray Beach and St. Coleman's Catholic School in Pompano, graduating from Pompano Beach High School.

For 33 years she worked as a Purchasing Agent for First Marketing Company, Pompano Beach where she was well respected as a leader and by her peers. In 2009, she retired and moved to Leisureville in Boynton Beach.

Mrs. Shattuck is survived by her husband Bob, her sons Joseph Brescia (Teresa), Jeffrey Shickles (Michelle), grandchildren: Michael, Jared, Jake & Taylor, nephews and nieces: Brandon, Brian, Vanessa, Gloria and Kevin. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor in the near future.
