Arline O. Crawford, 98, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2013 at The Abbey Delray South, in Delray Beach, FL, where she lived for the past 14 years. She was born to Oswin and Olivia Warmkessel Meck of Longswamp, PA and graduated from Kutztown State Teachers College. She taught school in a one room school house before marrying James Crawford. They were married for 58 years before his death in 1993. Prior to moving to Florida, they resided in Allentown for 25 years. Arline is survived by four devoted children: Anne Smith (Kirk) of North Conway, NH; Sally Perry of Austin, TX; Susan Wiggins of Middletown, DE; and James Jr. (Susan) of Wake Forest, NC; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Arline was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach, FL serving as a Deacon for many years as well as being a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. A Memorial Service will be held in Topton, PA later this year with arrangements handled by Lorne and Sons Funeral Home in Delray Beach, FL.
