Arthur Gorman Griswold, Jr. of Delray Beach, Florida and formerly of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Griswold in 2019. Mr. Griswold is survived by his daughters, Karen Horton (Stan), Donna Snowdale (Rob), Sandra Swan (Bill) and Leslie Rhue (Jeff); grandchildren Jessica Schneider, John Horton, Harrison Horton, Patrick Horton, Ashley Rhue, Holly Rhue(Sean), Jeffrey F. Rhue, Jr. and great grandchildren Jackson Horton and Fiona Schneider.

Arthur loved sports and had been an exceptional ice hockey and lacrosse player. Professionally, he was one of the earliest computer programmers, working at a time when computers filled entire rooms. He never stopped being amazed by how far technology advanced over the years.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The family will be holding a small, private graveside service.
