Arthur, better known as Art or Buddy, was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky before joining the Navy near the end of World War II and also serving in Korea. As a young man he rode thoroughbreds and motorcycles as well as raced cars. Later, as a family man, he loved and provided for a large family that loved him just as much. Arthur died on Tuesday April 17, 2018 in Knoxville, TN. He is predeceased by his wife Dorothy and daughter Patricia. He is survived by his four sons and their wives, James and Judy, Charles and Evelyn, Wyatt and Diane, Edwin and Victoria, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Boynton Beach Municipal Cemetery, 1611 South Seacrest Blvd. (Corner of Seacrest Blvd & Woolbright Road), Boynton Beach on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 9:30 AM.
