Avis Kathryn Mellen, 91, of Delray Beach passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014. She is survived by her 3 children, Timothy (Peggy) Mellen of Woolwich, ME, Kathryn (Joseph) Schwartzberg of Vista, CA and Laurie (George) Miller of Rochester, NY; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Kara, Jeffrey, Jessica, Brittany and Colby and 5 great grandchildren, Kathryn, Luke, Brooklyn, Grayson and James. Avis is predeceased by her loving husband, James E. Mellen. A visitation will be held on Thursday December 18, 2014 from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home 745 NE 6th Ave. (N. Federal Hwy.) Delray Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 18, 2014 1:00PM at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3510 S. Ocean Blvd. Highland Beach, FL 33487.
