Suzanne "Barbara" Hayward Carpenter of Delray Beach, Florida, and formerly Greenwich, Connecticut passed away peacefully on December 28, 2014. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Barbara was a long time member of the Rye Twigg and Greenwich Hospital auxiliary. She is survived by her children Hilary Carpenter Lynch, of Village of Golf, Florida, Patricia Lathem Carey of Darien, Connecticut, Edward Brewster Prindle, of Seattle, Washington, Timothy Knowlton Carpenter of Darien, Connecticut and Francis Newton Carpenter, III of S. Barrington, Illinois as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral celebration will be held Sunday, January 4, 2015, 2 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 188 S. Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida. Funeral/internment will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015, 2 PM at Christ Church Greenwich, Connecticut.
