Barbara Jean (Karp) Blum, 56, of Delray Beach entered eternal life on Tuesday, October 29, 2013.
Barbara was a beautiful woman who was a shining example of humanity at its very best. Her goal in life was to make everyone who came in contact with her happy, wanting nothing in return. Even during her courageous battle against breast cancer, Barbara maintained an impossibly upbeat attitude, and managed to smile and laugh for the sake of others.
Her spirit will live on through her loving husband Thomas R. Blum, her mother Marie Jacobucci, her father Ronald Karp, her sister Lisa Karp, and brother in-law Larry Liberman, Uncle Thomas Jacobucci and Aunt Teresa McInally, Aunt Elaine Jacobucci, and a large extended family of lifelong friends.
She will be greatly missed by all people that were fortunate to know her.
Friends and family may attend the viewing on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue (N. Fed Hwy), Delray Beach, FL.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 2, 2013, 1:00 PM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Boulevard, Delray Beach, FL with interment to follow at Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
