Obituary

Barbara Jeanne Reilly Sierra, 62, died November 17 at her home in Delray Beach, FL.
Barbara Jeanne Reilly was born to Lillian K. Heller Reilly and the late James J. Reilly in Wantagh, N.Y. December 28, 1950. She changed her name to Reilly Sierra later in her life.
Reilly grew up in New York attending schools in Brooklyn and Wantagh. Following her family's move to Houston, TX, Reilly graduated from Westchester Sr. High School in 1968. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University before returning to New York where she was employed by Pan Am. Reilly later attended the School of Visual Arts NYC, graduating in 1976.
After working as an Art Director for many years, including American Orchid Society Magazine from 1997-1999, Reilly completed training as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2002. She also completed Yoga training in 2003. In 2007 Reilly established Joyful Clothes in Delray Beach. She was passionate about her work and cared about protecting the environment and healthy living. She fervently believed in a holistic approach to life and health.
Reilly was a truly loving and gentle soul, who was generous and always looked for the positive side of things. She loved to travel and train with the best teachers in her fields of expertise. She loved and was very supportive of her nieces and nephews, and always traveled to see them for holidays and special occasions when she could. Barbara was a cherished by many.

Reilly is survived by her mother, Lillian K. Reilly of Houston, TX. three siblings: Patricia Reilly Lynch of New York, Robert C. Reilly of Houston, James J. Reilly of New Orleans, and 16 nieces and nephews.
A life celebration will be held at 12 noon, December 14th at the Atlantic Dunes Park Pavilion, 1605 South Ocean Blvd, Delray Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Orchid Society or The American Cancer Society.
