Bartolome Perez passed away on the morning of December 27, 2024, at the age of 93.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Bartolo was born in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba.  He was a long-time Delray Beach resident for over 50 years.  He was the proud owner of B. Perez Lawn Service.  He enjoyed helping his clients and serving the community.

Bartolo was an incredibly hard-working person.  He was kind and brought joy and laughter wherever he went.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He loved quiet evenings smoking cigars or watching Westerns.

Bartolo is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Aidee Perez, daughter, Marlene Strauss, son, Fernando Perez, two grandchildren, Brian Strauss and Jessica Sanfratello, and two great-grandchildren, Lillian Sanfratello and Owen Sanfratello.  He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Angelica Perez, and three brothers and four sisters.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 9600 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL with burial to follow at Delray Beach Memorial Gardens.

Bartolo's love and laughter will be profoundly missed. His spirit will continue to live in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
