Benjamin J. Antal, 97, of Delray Beach passed away on April 19, 2021.  Ben was a WWII Veteran and the recipient of two purple hearts, the bronze star, and the legion of honor.  He was wounded in the Invasion of Normandy.  Upon returning home, he married his wife Helen in 1946.  Ben is predeceased by his parents Anna and Joseph Antal, his wife Helen of 73 years and great grandson Austin Antal.

He is survived by his two sons, Robert (Sue) Antal, Mark (Jane) Antal; two grandsons, Jason (Jessica) Antal, Ryan (Calisa) Antal; one granddaughter, Rebecca (Jason) DeWitt; four great grandsons, Brett and Noah Perkins, Jackson Antal and Brennan DeWitt; two great granddaughters, Victoria Antal and Jamasen Antal.

Ben's last years were pretty much homebound. He was very happy to attend his grandson's wedding in October where he even danced! He now rests in peace with his Lord and his wife Helen.  He will be missed, but not forgotten.

Burial services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, 1:00PM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449 in Lane #3.
