Bessie M. Barnes, a longtime resident of Boynton Beach, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

Born in Wellsville, Ohio in 1927, Bess moved to Florida in 1961.  She was a medical transcriber and secretary to a large medical practice.  After retiring, she continued to be active in volunteering at the Chamber of Commerce in Boynton Beach and Bethesda Hospital for 20 years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Richard in 1985.  She is survived by her daughters Debbie Kingston of Boynton Beach, Valerie (John) Salatino of Boynton Beach, and Renee Barnes of Boynton Beach, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.
