Betty Ann Fernandes, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the age of 81. Betty Ann was born on July 28, 1940 in Ajmer, India to Francis and Agnes Martin. Betty was an educator for 34 years, 7 of which were in India and 27 in the United States. Following her husband and family, she later immigrated to the United States in 1974, where she cared for her three children. Betty was a devout Catholic where she served as a eucharistic minister for many years.  Betty enjoyed spending her time cooking, dancing, going to the movies, and being around her family. Betty Ann was also well known for her fashion and etiquette.

Betty is survived by her loving three sons, Dwayne (Joan), Ryan, and Shaun (Lewis); her four doting granddaughters Ilani, Leiani, Kaili and Sienna; her siblings Hermoine, Francis, Marie, Johnny and Cynthia. Betty was predeceased by her husband Braz, and brother Oscar. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, Delray Beach, FL.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on October 19th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach at 10:00 a.m.
