Obituary

Bradley Jimenez passed away the morning of December 19th, 2024 after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.  Brad is survived by his beloved wife Riley and their two dogs Pixie & Harry; his father Carlos Jimenez; sister Nilu Jimenez-Ross, her husband Phil and their children Luna and Orion.  He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Dora and older brother Mario.

Brad graduated from Spanish River High School in 1994 followed by an undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2002.  He earned his master's degree in music from FAU in 2005.

Brad was soft-spoken and quick with a smile unless he was on stage playing one of his saxophones or singing in one of the bands he played with.  While on stage, Brad was a commanding entertainer with a fantastic singing voice, the perfect sway of his hips, and the ability to lead the crowd in singing along.  He was easy to spot on stage with his signature bowler hat.

Brad was also an artist who meticulously painted Warhammer model figurines.  His collection included hundreds of armies, each hand-painted with tiny brushes and a magnifying glass to capture every detail.  He enjoyed playing all kinds of games and loved getting together with his extended friends and family.

Brad was a friend to all who knew him and will be sadly missed by all who love him.

In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation in Brad's name to the community volunteer band Brad played with that was close to his heart:
