Obituary

Caroline Prestigiacomo, 85, of Delray Beach, Florida, and formerly of Huntington, New York, passed away peacefully in her home on April 27, 2023. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack, and her loving son, Joseph. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Via and Jo Ann (Joseph) Caracappa; nephews, Pasquale (Allison) Zicchinelli and Nicholas Zicchinelli; grandchildren, Joseph, Vincent, Stephen, Caroline, Johncarlo and Luca. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Kathy Green and Barbara Prestigiacomo; nephews, Nicholas, Joseph, Jesse and Casey; and other relatives and dear friends. She will be remembered as a woman who put her family first, a loving and kind friend to many, a ringer on the bocci court, a woman of utmost strength and wisdom, but most of all, an amazing mother to her children and the very best nanny to her grandchildren.  She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Family and friends may visit at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6 th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33483, (561) 276-4161, on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:00am at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 15700 S Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33484. Interment will follow at the Boynton Beach Mausoleum, 1611 S Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
