Catherine A. Diggans, 89, widow of LeRoy E. Diggans, died on April 28, 2014, in Chatham, NJ. A longtime resident of Delray Beach, FL, she had been active in the local travel business for over 30 years and had been a member of St. Vincent Ferrer parish. Recently she had resided in Chatham, NJ with her daughter and family. She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Diggans of New York City and Susan D. Barbey and husband Paul of Chatham, NJ; three grandchildren, Alexandra, Emily and Nicholas Barbey. She was predeceased by her daughter, Julie Diggans, her sister, Helen A. DeSocio, and her two brothers, George J. Aspland of Babylon, NY and Michael P. Aspland of Garden City, NY.
A Visitation will be held from 6:30PM to 7:30PM on Sunday, May 4 ^th at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Ave., Delray Beach.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 5 ^th at 10:00AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach.   Burial will follow at the Boynton Beach Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the American Red Cross www.redcross.org
