Charles Robert (Bob) Hersey, 92 of Delray Beach, formerly of Long Island New York, died peacefully at his home on April 5, 2021.

He was a loving husband of 39 years to his wife Kris. He is also survived by his children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob will be remembered by all who knew him for his kind nature, love of family, life, the ocean and dogs. He attended the Citadel Military Academy, served in Army Infantry as a first lieutenant, was a commercial master diver and a licensed ship captain. His service continued as a volunteer with the Palm Beach Reef team, the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Delray Beach Fire Department.
