We are sad to announce the passing of Alex Nelmark of Boynton Beach, Florida.  Alex was a medical miracle, he was strong willed, a fighter, and survived several debilitating aneurysms/strokes but always found a way to carry on.  Sadly, he was unable to survive the latest set back and passed away on October 25, 2023 at age 73.  Alex was surrounded by loved ones in the days preceding and during his death.

He has gone to play canasta with Grandma Jean, listen to Aunt D's sarcastic jokes and drink lots of coffee and sing some old songs with his brothers.  The family was known to get together many weekends (with kids in tow) and sing the night away.  Alex had the band stage set up along with a pool table in his basement.

Alex was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and relocated to Florida to be closer to his daughters.  In his later years, he enjoyed playing bingo & solitaire, people watching, and hanging with family.

Alex is survived by his 3 loving daughters; Patty Jones, Tracey Cavender, Ashley Maxwell (Nicole), son; Charlie, 4 grandchildren; Hunter, Cassandra, Jenna, and Timothy along with his older brother; Rick Nelmark.

Alex was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth Jean & Oliver Hastings; brothers; Ollie, Robert, Patrick, and sister, Diane.

The memorial will be a private ceremony with chosen and close family members.
