Charles Rolland Oswald, 99, of Delray Beach, FL and formerly of Schenectady, NY passed away on July 6, 2014. Mr. Oswald was predeceased by his wife Dorothy and his daughter Karen Janaitis. He is survived by his grand daughter, Megan Sitar and her husband, William Sitar and his four great grandchildren, Sophie, Will, Isabel, and Lily Sitar. Mr. Oswald lead a very interesting life. He enjoyed horseback riding, flying airplanes and played in a jazz band. He was in the Navy and owned his own engineering/construction company, which built numerous buildings in the Schenectady area. He was very loved and will be missed. Services will be at the Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady, NY at a future date in August 2014. Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, Delray Beach in charge of arrangements.
