Claire B. Corkum "Auntie", 92, of Boynton Beach and formerly of Chester, Nova Scotia, Canada passed away peacefully on September 24, 2017 with her family by her side. She is survived by her nephew Jim Stanton (Heidi) of Boynton Beach, FL, her great nephew Jeff Stanton (Niki), great niece Allie Sjaardema (Jason), great, great nephews Jacob and Trey Stanton and great, great niece Sarah Sjaardema. Claire was a member of First Baptist Church of Delray Beach. She retired after 30 years of services from Southern Bell.

There will be a memorial gathering to celebrate a life well lived on Saturday, September 30th at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue, Delray Beach, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with an 11:00 AM Memorial Service. Claire would not want you to wear black at her funeral, so pick out your happiest color to wear. She loved color and butterflies! Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Chester, Nova Scotia at a later date.
