Claire J. "Jackie" Schroeder, 78, of Boynton Beach passed away on August 9, 2013. Jackie was born in Delray Beach, daughter of the late E.B. & Maurieta Nichols. She was a 1953 graduate of Seacrest High School in Delray Beach and very active with the alumni association. Jackie's passions included walking the beach, collecting sea glass and shells. Jackie is survived by her children and their spouses, her son Larry & Terri Schroeder of Delray Beach, and their daughter Melissa Schroeder and her son Michael, Lake Worth, FL., son Chris Schroeder (Dorie) and their children Lauren, Olivia, and Avery, Royal Palm Beach, FL., Jackie's daughter Sheryl & Joe Bidnick of Boynton Beach, and their children, sons Robert and Nickolas Villatoro, daughter Marie Villatoro all of Boynton Beach, FL, Jackie's sisters and their spouses Joyce & Wade Cook of Olathe, KS, and their children Loni Burson (Chris) and son Zachary of Midlothian TX, Nic Cook (Tracy) and their daughter Miranda of Paola, KS., and Joyce Elaine Cook and her children, Marcus and Jessica, of Olathe, KS., sister Judith & Ron Palivoda of Boynton Beach and their children Deborah Palivoda and her son Bryant, Tracy Nestor (Bill) and their children Britt and Ashlyn, all of Boynton Beach, FL.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 6-8PM with a 7PM scripture service at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave. (N Fed Hwy) Delray Beach. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, 10:30AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach with interment to follow at the Delray Beach Cemetery.
