Corinne de la Rupelle Layman, residing in Delray Beach, FL and formerly Manhasset, NY passed on August 11, 2019 in her home after a long illness.  Her family surrounded and comforted her with love in the days prior.

Corinne was known to her friends as Nina and grandchildren as "Lolly".  She was born in Paris in 1931 to Count & Countess Guy de la Rupelle; she was educated at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and the Sorbonne.  She was a talented artist, loved politics but had a sense of humor, was uncomplaining and very loving.  She was predeceased by her son David Layman in 2012 and is survived by her daughter Alexandra Andon and her grandchildren Avery, Alec, Arlis Andon and Ryan and Alec Layman.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Calvary Chapel, 2401 W. Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308.  Generous of heart and survivor of WWII, she made contributions to Veterans causes, the Catholic Church, St Jude's Children's Hospital and The Republican Party.  In lieu of flowers please contribute to any of those causes.
