Obituary

Danny Paul Christ, 67, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away peacefully in his home on May 29, 2025.

Born on September 2, 1957, in Miami, Florida, Danny was the son of Robert and Theodora Christ.  Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, proudly serving two enlistments.  He initially served as a dental hygienist stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA.  He later served a second tour of duty onboard a wooden minesweeper based out of Charleston, SC.  After his honorable discharge, he attended the local community college where he earned his associate degree.  He began his civilian career as a dental lab technician in Charleston, SC, and eventually returned to Florida, where he continued to work in that field.

In 2005, Danny decided to take a different career path and joined Earth Systems, an environmental consulting and engineering firm.  As a Field Technician, he conducted groundwater field tests and soil assessments throughout the state of Florida.  Danny's unmatched work ethic was a testament to the values instilled in him by his father, who never missed a day of work and taught him the importance of taking pride in everything he did.

Yet, before life became too busy and filled with responsibilities, anyone who knew Danny understood his love for the beach and surfing.   His friends and family recall the warm smile and true joy, from countless hours beneath the sun and on his surfboard.  His spirit will live on in every crashing wave and every gentle sea breeze.

Danny was greatly loved and is dearly missed by his loving wife Billie June, sister Nancy Musalam (Jaime), sister-in-law Lisa Schuchert, daughter Stephanie Christ, stepdaughter Judy Tolley (Eddie), stepson Danny Deutsch (Rainbow), and stepson Michael Prickett (Betty), as well as his Godmother Anthey Wanderon (Eric).  Danny was predeceased by and has now joined his beloved mother, father, and older brother Dean in the peaceful eternity of heaven.

The family is deeply grateful for the friendship and kindness of Debbie Kerr, Debi Weeks, as well as the owner, managers, and coworkers at Earth Systems for all their concern and support over the last few months.  The family would also like to express their deepest gratitude to Hospice of Palm Beach County (Trustbridge) for the compassionate care and comfort that was provided to Danny during this difficult time.
