Obituary

David Mosel was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  Beloved son of Jack Mosel and Blanche Taylor, and brother to Suzanne.

David grew up in Norfolk, VA. He graduated Granby High School where he played football and was voted the funniest.  He had a dog named Jiggs whom he never forgot and everyone knew and loved. When Jiggs died, his school raised the flag and had a moment  of silence to honor him.

David was offered a full scholarship to the University of Michigan for his trumpet playing ability but declined because his true love was football and he was a jock. Instead he chose to go to the University of Virginia where he received a BA in Economics.

David was a Veteran stationed in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma as a Lieutenant in the Army USAR Arty.

He began his working career at Young & Rubicam, the Top Advertising Agency in New York City where a select few are chosen each year from all the universities.  He excelled in this industry and eventually was promoted to Senior V.P. on the Colgate Palmolive Account.

He then started a successful Executive Search Firm in N.Y.C. called Mosel & Rose, Inc. Some years later, David and his partner Diane relocated to Palm Beach County, Florida where they settled in permanent residency.

David excelled in everything he did. He had a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.

David is survived by his two sons Jack Mosel in Carmel, NY and Dr. Thomas O'Connor in Connecticut.  David is also survived by his dear friend and business partner Diane Rosenbaum of 30+ years as well as his dear friend Jimmy Heyward.  Also, he is survived by his grandchildren; Angie, David and William, Maxine and David and through his great grandchildren; Ace, Alex and Anthony in New Hampshire.

David, Rest in Peace.  We Love You Very Much and We Miss You!
