Delores Snow Green, age 83 of Delray Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Delores was predeceased by her beautiful two year old daughter, Nancy Snow Green, after a courageous battle with leukemia, her loving husband of 28 years, Bob Green, and her dedicated parents, William J. and Mary Emma Snow, and brother, Bill Snow.

She is survived by her childhood sweetheart, Orson Kelly, who she was reunited with several years ago and has been her loving companion ever since, her five daughters, Julie Green Markley (Chuck), Lisa Green, Barbara Green Bonardi (Fred), Gretchen Green Armstrong (Keith), Carol Green Rossi (Allan), and her eight grandchildren, Brooke & Bob Bibbee (Haley), Tony & Nicholas Bonardi, Austin & Jackson Armstrong, Sarah & Lily Rossi, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Delores attended Seacrest High School, before graduating from Barry College in Miami with her Associate's Degree. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her five daughters and she always put them first. Born in her parents' Delray Beach home, she was a "native" who loved her hometown and took great pride in its history. Delores was a lifelong member of St. Vincent Ferrer, where she was an original member of the Rosary Altar Society, and an active PTO member for several years at St. Vincent Ferrer School. She was also a member of the Delray Jubileers.

Delores was a generous and loving caregiver to many friends who faced their own health struggles and illnesses. She ensured her home was a welcoming and loving retreat for friends in need.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 26, 2017 11:00AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd. Delray Beach.
