Devin Christopher Bellak, 28, of Delray Beach Florida, formerly from Chicago, Illinois, left his physical form on Sunday, November 26, 2017 although his spirit will live forever.

He is survived by his loving mother, Jill Bellak and her partner, Sabrina Haake of Chicago, Illinois, his wonderful uncle, Scott Bellak who was more like a father, uncles, Bruce Bellak and Ross Bellak, aunts Sheila and Cathy Bellak, aunts by love not blood, Kim Becker and Rainy Payne, beloved cousins, Danielle, Caitlin, Matt, Taylor, Jason, Zachary, Jacob and Aaron Bellak, along with countless friends.

Devin was a beautiful, gentle, introspective soul who saw spirituality and meaning in the everyday. He loved the ocean, nature, music, art, people and animals, especially his cat Reggae. He died of a heroin overdose after many years of battling addiction, and his family believes speaking the truth may help others.

Devin's memorial service will be held Sunday, December 10th, 2017, at 2PM in the Atrium at the Ravenswood Event Center, 4043 N Ravenswood in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Devin's name at shatterproof.org.
