Domenic J. Marotta, 80, of Delray Beach passed away on June 6, 2014. Born and raised in East Boston and moved to Florida in 1957 with his first wife and daughter and later had two more children. He owned and operated a furniture refinishing business and other furniture related businesses in the Delray Beach area. He retired at a young age and has been able to enjoy his favorite past times such as boating, motor-homing, cooking and entertaining. There was always a seat at Domenic's table for a friend or anyone that happened by. Domenic is survived by his second wife, Deborah Hopkins-Marotta and his three children Donna, Diana and Dean (Mellody) Marotta. He is also survived by his three brothers, mother-in-law and brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 2PM to 4PM with a 4PM memorial service both at LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Ave. (N. Federal Hwy), Delray Beach.
