Donald R. Sweeney, 84, a resident of Delay Beach since 1969 passed away on January 19, 2014. Donald and his brother, Gerald were avid and faithful volunteers for the St. Vincent Ferrer Parish. Donald is predeceased by Gerald in 2010. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 8:30AM to 9:30AM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home in Delray Beach, with a 10:00AM Funeral Mass to follow at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, Delray Beach. Burial will be held at the Delray Beach Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic School, 810 George Bush Blvd. Delray Beach, FL 33483.
