Earl Owens 95, of Delray Beach passed away on January 24th, 2016.  Mr. Owens was a former Sergeant in the Marine Corps during WWII.  He was a past 3rd District Commander and past Commander of the V.F.W. Post 4141 in 1956 & 1983.  He is survived by his wife, Lelia T. Owens whom he married on February 21, 1949, 2 sons, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Mr. Owens was predeceased by one son, Earl C. Owens.  Urn burial with military honors will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM in lane 5.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach VA Medical Center, 7305 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410 in Mr. Owens memory.
