Earl C. (Pete) Pierce, 91, of Boynton Beach passed away peacefully on August 4, 2016 with his wife by his side. Pete moved to Delray Beach in 1957 and was in the bank industry most of his career, retiring as Executive Vice-President for Sun Trust in Delray Beach. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Boynton Beach and Masonic Adoniram Lodge #517 in Akron, OH. Pete is survived by Connie, wife of 43 years; Daughters Diane Sweatt of Jackson, WY and Deborah Millward of Burlingame, KS; Grandchildren Shelly Dennis, Kim Foster, Christine Frank, Michael Sweatt, Christopher Sweatt, Randy Hulter, Katie Heyne and Angela Gates; 13 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters-in-law Daneen Pitts, Bobbi Hill (Buzz Hill); many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 5 PM to 7 PM at LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Avenue, (North Fed Hwy) Delray Beach, Florida 33483. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016, 10:30 AM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2929 S. Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
