Ed Langlois (88) of Lake Worth passed away on Saturday, November 5. was born Providence R.I. on August 26,1934. Ed is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ann, brother Joseph and sister Joan. His surviving children are Michael, Lisa, & Scott, 5 grandchildren. The grandchildren are Matthew, Lauren, Colin, Rachel, Shelby. He is leaving care of the four fur babies to his wife Ann and sister Joan.
Ed is a graduate of LaSalle Academy in RI, Bryant College &, Lesley College. He was awarded his Doctor of Business (DBA) in 1998 from Nova University, He lived in Bristol, RI and worked in media and advertising with the Providence Journal Company in RI for thirty years.
In 1998, Ed and Ann moved to Florida. Ed began teaching at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He was appointed Professor of Business and retired as Professor Emeritus. His passion for marketing and integrating Christian principles in his concepts were enlightening to marketing students. Ed was the Director of the MBA program in the Rinker School of Business for 12 years. His students and colleagues fondly refer to him as Dr. Ed
Ed and Ann were married for 46 years and were fortunate to both have a passion for education, travel and friendships. Ed enjoyed visiting with the grandchildren and watching them grow into successful young adults. One of his most memorable moments was walking his granddaughter Lauren down the aisle on her wedding day.
His hobbies were enjoying good conversations with his friends, spending special time with the fur babies, walking, reading and enjoying life.
The Mass of Celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, 10:00AM at St. Thomas More Church, 10935 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33436. A link to the Mass at St. Thomas will be posted on Facebook.
Burial service with military honors will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, 11 AM, Lane 3 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 State Road 7/441, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
