Edna M.
Cacchioli
January 12, 1929 – June 5, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edna Cacchioli, who passed away peacefully at the age of 96. Edna was born on January 12th, 1929, and grew up in Paterson, NJ with her siblings, Leon, June and Edith. She lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind many cherished memories.
Edna was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Paul, with whom she shared a lifetime of joy and companionship. Together they moved from New Jersey to Arizona and eventually settled in Florida where they enjoyed the golden years of their marriage. Edna was also a dedicated mother to her children, Edna, Donna, David and Paula and loving grandmother to her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to the love she had for her family, Edna had a passion for life's simple pleasures. She was an excellent cook, always delighting family and friends with delicious meals, especially ones containing her homemade tomato sauce. Her house was always filled with big band and country music, but most of all she loved listening to Paul play the saxophone. She was frequently found either reading a good book or at the kitchen table playing Rummy with her husband, family or friends, typically outshining her opponents.
As we say goodbye to such an incredible woman, we take comfort in knowing her legacy will live on in those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever.
