Elaine Catherine Gallagher passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at Bethesda Hospital. She was 75 years young.

Elaine was born in Brooklynn, NY on February 7th, 1947 to Edna & Charles Rubino. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph F. Gallagher, children Kevin & Kelly Gallagher, & numerous grandchildren. She was the oldest of four girls; Marie Maffia, Ellen Blank, & Alice Butzbach.

Elaine met Joe in Mineola, NY where they were married & moved to Boynton Beach to raise their family. She had a fulfilling career in the Palm Beach County Public School System where she was an inspiration to many young minds. She chose this career so that she could stay close to her kids. She spent her entire working life in service to children until retirement. After which she went on to enjoy traveling the world with her husband, creating arts & crafts that would put smiles on her friends and families faces, sewing, and cruising to new and exciting destinations that were always on her bucket list.

She spent the most memorable times of her life with her husband & entire family on the shores of the St. Lawrence Seaway where she herself was brought to by her parents as a child with her sisters. This tradition will continue on with the next generation that she has inspired to love the river life. For this truly was her place of peace.

She was an active member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church which was her place of worship and strength while raising her children through the sacraments of Christ. Loved by many, forever in our hearts, she will be missed by all.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11:30am to 12:30pm with a Memorial Service at 12:30pm on Sunday, April 10th, 2022 at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33483 for all who wish to attend.
