Eleanor Hard Goss, age 96 of Delray Beach, Florida and Middlebury, Connecticut died on April 18, 2018 at Harbor's Edge, Delray Beach, Florida surrounded by her family.
Born in Oakville, Connecticut in 1921, the daughter of Mildred Hopkins Hard and Harry Edward Hard of Oakville, Connecticut, Eleanor was a member of the Junior League of Waterbury, Connecticut and a volunteer at the Waterbury Hospital and the Red Cross.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband William Middlebrook Goss and is survived by her three daughters, Elaine Goss Witherspoon of Litchfield, Connecticut, Daryl Goss Weil of Paradise Valley, Arizona, and Harriet Goss Madeira of Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held at the family 's convenience in Middlebury, Connecticut.
