Elizabeth "Elsa" Emmerich, 90, of Delray Beach, Florida and Somers, New York passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017.

Born on February 18, 1927 in New York City, daughter of Albert and Margarethe Muller, Elsa attended Cathedral High School and The College of New Rochelle.

Elsa is predeceased by her loving husband of sixty years, Frederick M. Emmerich and her son, Frederick A. Emmerich. She is survived by her children, Elaine (nee Emmerich) & Peter Daubner, of New Milford, CT and Brian & Brooke Emmerich, of Rye Brook, NY, along with her grandchildren Robbie, Christie, Fred, Dana and Lauren, as well as her seven great grandchildren and beloved cousin Ellen Roethling.

A devoted wife and mother, Elsa was equally dedicated to serving the Lord as a Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph's Church in Somers, NY, St. Lucy's Church and St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Delray Beach, FL. A long standing member of Westchester Country Club and The Delray Beach Club, Elsa was a force to be reckoned with…on the tennis court, at the bowling alleys, playing bridge and in LIFE!

A celebration of Elsa's life and Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10:00AM at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 221 E Lake Blvd., Mahopac, NY 10541, phone number
