Mrs. Elizabeth Pettinicchi, 87, formerly of Chesire, CT passed away at home on Monday, October 21st, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael N. Pettinicchi. Born in Waterbury, CT on August 29th, 1926, she was the daughter of the later Felix and Maria Viarengo. After she married Michael on July 3rd, 1948, they moved to Chesire, CT where they raised their family. They later moved to Ocean Ridge, FL where they resided for many years. Elizabeth leaves behind three children; Diana Pettinicchi of San Francisco, CA, Michael J. Pettinicchi of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Robert and his wife Anna of Chesire, CT. She loved and adored her three granddaughters; Jenna, Bianca and Elizabeth Pettinicchi. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Viarengo and his children; Sandra Mertz, Pamela Viarengo and Rick Viarengo. Elizabeth also leaves sister-in-law Josephine Guastaferri of Prospect and her children; Paula Mirabelle of Prospect and Mark Dana Guastaferri of Prospect. Elizabeth was loved by her family and many friends and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She will be missed by many but never forgotten. Friends may call on Saturday, October 26th from 9:00AM to 9:45AM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, located at 745 NE 6th Avenue (North Federal Hwy.) in Delray Beach. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
