Elsie R. Labrador, 88, of Boynton Beach passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 after an afternoon filled with love and laughter and is now at peace with Our Lord. Nana, as she was known by many, was incredibly independent, a conversationalist, and was loved by all that had the opportunity to know her. She loved to share her immense knowledge on many things with others and always put others before herself. She was a wonderful cook and obtained so much joy in sharing her recipe knowledge with everyone. Elsie loved her Catholic faith and her family above all things. She was a Rosary warrior and was often called upon to pray for specific intentions, which she did willingly and with much love. She prayed the Rosary nearly every day of her life.
Elsie was born in Cleveland, Ohio as the eldest of three children, to Michael and Mary Schwenner of Austria. She was a devoted wife to Louis Labrador, loving mother to three children and doting grandmother to four grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Thomas M. Labrador and his wife Marcela, Linda M. Tomc and her husband Jim and Cindy Labrador Swilley and her husband Tim; her brother William Schwenner, and four grandchildren, Angela Labrador, Brooke Swilley, Nicholas Swilley, and Hayley Swilley. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis Labrador, her brother Robert Schwenner and her beloved parents. May they all be at peace in heaven and may Jesus and our Blessed Mother be at their sides. Our mother was truly loved and will be deeply missed.


Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5PM to 8PM at the Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave (North Federal Highway), Delray Beach. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, 10:30AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Boulevard, Delray Beach.
