Ericka Dawn Bellet, born on December 10, 1975, in Weslaco, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She had made Okeechobee, Florida, her home for the last five years, sharing her life with her beloved husband of seven years, Pete Kendall.

After graduating from Blue Valley High School in 1993, Ericka earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University, where she played softball on a scholarship for the Lady Chants.  She later pursued and achieved her Doctor of Naturopathy.

Ericka will be deeply missed by her loving husband Pete; her cherished dog Brutus; stepdaughter Brittany Russell; three wonderful grandchildren; her father Eugene; and her four sisters, Ann, Belinda, Kimberly, and Jennifer.  She also leaves behind her nephews Nicholas, Joseph, Rose, Gavin, and Brendan; great-niece Everlyie; and great-nephew Arlo.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Lewis Bellet.

Ericka was passionately involved with her brothers and sisters in sobriety, and enjoyed her time with Swamp Life Tours.  She loved running with Brutus, relished the ocean and warm weather, and was always eager for new travel adventures.  Her spirit of adventure and love for life will be remembered by all who knew her.
