Eugene Leo Hennessy, 80, of Delray Beach and formerly of Ringtown, PA passed away on September 14, 2021.

"Gene" was predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Helen (Machinski) Hennessy. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Trexler) Hennessy of 55 years. Daughters, Jill Clark (husband Donald) and Cheryl Hennessy. His beloved grandchildren Edward Sherwood, Brett Sherwood, Justin Sherwood and Brianna Kibler and brother Benjamin Hennessy and sister-in-law Allene Hennessy of Stuart, FL.

He graduated from Ringtown High in 1959, held a management position at Motorola where he worked for 26 years. He was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church for 40 years.

He LOVED his family and of course, Football. "Fly Eagles Fly" and his Phillies.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a 1:00pm Scripture Service at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home.  Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
