Eugene Sasso, 88, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 of heart complications. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Jeanne. He is survived by his four children, Robert, Richard, Debra and Jeanine; two daughters in law, Ann and Carmen; two sons in law, Rob and John; five grandchildren, Richard Jr. (Lynn), Joanna (Mark), Krystal, Danielle, and Morgan; and five great-grandchildren, Jaida, Tyler, Paityn, Stella, and Camryn.

Eugene was born on September 2, 1925 in Bronx, New York to Raphael and Rose (DiPasquale) Sasso. He moved to South Florida in 1966. Most of his professional life was spent in the hospitality industry. He lived life to the fullest, laughing and making others laugh, too. Eugene (Dad, Gramps, Grampie, G.G.) will be remembered always as an amazing father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Eugene will be remembered during a wake and prayer service at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home(745 NE 6th Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33483) on Tuesday from 5-8pm (Memories Shared at 6:30pm and Prayers with Fr. Michael Parrotta at 7:30pm). His final resting place will be with his wife at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Davie at 12:30PM.
