F. John Giordano, 89, passed away peacefully in his Delray Beach home on November 7th. He was with family. Born in Nice, France, he came of age under the Nazi occupation of WWII and went on to fight with the Free French Forces. He came to Delray Beach, following the war, to farm with his uncle. It was there he met his wife of 59 years, Irene, who survives him. His daughter, Lorraine Doerr; three grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin and Jared; as well as four great-grandchildren, Aria, Ocean, Grayson and Skylar, also survive him. John loved and was loved by his community. A man of the people, you could find him at Ace Hardware, helping out around his church, or telling a new joke to anyone he could catch with his smile. He continues to make us laugh, but he will be missed. A service will be held in his memory in the Harbor Room at Bar Harbor Condominiums on Tuesday, November 11th at 7:00PM. 86 MacFarlane Drive, Delray Beach, FL 33483.
