Reverend Gerald Grace, Pastor Emeritus of St. Lucy parish in Highland Beach passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.  He was incardinated into the Dioceses of Miami in 1965 and then in 1985, he became a priest of the Diocese of Palm Beach.

During his 53 years as a priest, he has been on the faculty of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, Diocesan Director of Continuing Education of Clergy, Chair of the Priestly Life and Ministry Committee, Vicar for Priests, a member of the College of Consulters and Presbyteral Council, Vicar Forane for the Southern Deanery, a Parochial Vicar at St. Vincent Ferrer parish in Delray Beach, Censor Librorum for the Dioceses and many other consulting roles.

He is survived by his brother, Edmond; sister-in-law, Anne & Phil; nephews, Mícheál (his wife Gráinne) and Gerald (his wife Adrienn); grand nephew, Patrik and a grand niece, Nóra.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Lucy's Catholic Church, 3510 S Ocean Blvd, Highland Beach, FL 33487 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Lucy's Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 11:00am.  Burial will be held at a later date in Templebreadan Church (on the grounds), Templebreadan, Pallas, Limerick, Ireland.
