Federico Linares of Delray Beach, FL passed away peacefully in the company of family on December 10, 2014. He was 79 years old. Born in Cali, Colombia, he was the son of Jose and Teresa Linares. He is survived by his wife, Libia; his children, Francisco Javier, wife, Ellen, their daughters Anna and Lauren; Monica, husband, Mike Chura, their children, Brad, Adam newly married to his wife Stephanie, and Clare; Juan Pablo, wife, Patricia, and their children Isabelle and Gabriel; and Andres, wife, Sharon, and their sons Nicholas and Noah. He was predeceased by his son, Mauricio, who is survived by his son Simon, wife, Ashley and their children Sierra and Weston; his son Sam, wife, Vivid and their children Enolah, Soren and Brea; and his son Dominic. He is also survived by his sister, Mercedes, and numerous nieces and nephews. Federico was a proud and stalwart employee of Reichold Chemicals for 36 years where he left a legacy of professionalism, dedication, hard work and friendship. After retiring, he and his wife relocated to the Vizcaya, a Delray Beach community where he pursued his love of tennis, savored the company of his grandchildren and was a dear friend to many good friends and all relations living in and visiting the south Florida area. A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Delray Beach, FL, on Monday, December 15, 2014, at 10 A.M., with reception to follow at the church.
