Fortunata "Nancy" Mederos, "our angel" left this earth on June 9 ^th , 2021.  She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister to many.  She loved with all her heart and never had a bad word to say about anything or anyone.  She worked hard her whole life but never a complaint was whispered from her lips.

She was born on October 14 ^th , 1937 in Cuba and migrated to the US with her husband and children and eventually became a resident of Boynton Beach.  She loved gardening and cooking for all her family.  Many times, she would be seen tending to her garden or in the kitchen cooking a meal for an army instead of the few who were stopping by to visit.  Family came first and she welcomed us all with open arms and a smile on her face.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Osmundo Mederos, her children, George Mederos, Marlen Hazelton and Olga Protzer.  She was "Nana" to 7 grandchildren, Sergio Ivashevsky, Jennifer Fabricius, Daniel Mederos, Natalie Mederos, Alex Protzer, Sofia Mederos and Katie Mederos.

She might be gone from this Earth but in our hearts, she will live forever.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14 ^th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6 ^th Avenue (Federal Highway/US1 Northbound) Delray Beach, FL 33483.  A Cryptside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Boynton Beach Mausoleum (Corner of Woolbright Road & Seacrest Blvd.)
