Frank Comisso, 93, of Delray Beach, died peacefully January 20, 2022. He was born on November 20, 1928 in Follansbee, West Virginia to the late Frank and Josephine (Ninerell) Comisso.
He attended the College of Steubenville in Ohio. Frank proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the Florida Division of Alcohol, Beverage, and Tobacco. Frank was an avid sports fan, devoted to the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, Miami Dolphins, and Tampa Bay Rays. He was honored to carry the "Olympic Torch" in Delray Beach in 1996 on its journey to Atlanta, Georgia.
Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Atkins) and many special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Rocky, Bill, Tom, and Richard.
Services and inurnment to be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
