George Peacock, 85, of Delray Beach and formerly of West Islap, New York, passed away on October 15, 2015.  George was born in Leeds, England.  He was a Sapper in the Corps of Royal Engineers, a fireman for the London Midland, Scottish Railway.  George was a cargo agent for British Airways.

He was a dedicated husband to his wife Margaret, a loving father to his children Michael Peacock, Estelle Peacock and grandchildren Michael W. Peacock, Jessica Warren, Tristan Goldbach, Allyson Goldbach and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Harold & Ernest Peacock and many nieces and nephews.  George will always be remembered as an honorable patriarch, friend to many, an example to all and a great, kind, selfless human being.

Friends may call on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM with a 7:00PM funeral service at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue (North Federal Highway), Delray Beach.  Entombment services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, 2:30PM at Our lady Queen of Peace Mausoleum, 10941 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33441.
